As you already know, we released a new vector skin (the Windows 11-inspired WXI) in our v22.1 release cycle. In our next release cycle (v22.2), we're adding four new palettes to this theme:
- Office White
- Office Colorful
- Office Dark Gray
- Office Black
As their names imply, these four palettes are designed to replicate the appearance of Microsoft’s newest Office products.
The WXI skin differs from standard vector skins included in the DevExpress WinForms distribution. Not only does the skin offer two built-in modes (Regular and Compact), but it also replicates new layout metaphors introduced in Windows 11: instead of breaking a form down into rectangular areas, it utilizes regions with rounded corners that host individual controls.
Six months have passed since the official release of our WXI skin, and as such, we'd love to know more about your personal experience/preferences. Have you incorporated the skin in your app and if so, what are your (or your customers) opinions? Please share your thoughts below.
