Last year, we added an entirely new product to the DevExpress Universal Subscription – our Native Mobile Charting Library for iOS, Android and Xamarin. This year, we’ll focus our efforts on Xamain.Forms and deliver the following products throughout 2019 (for the best possible performance, we will use native iOS/Android views. This will allow us to release a separate set of native controls for iOS/Android at a later time).
Should you have any questions about this roadmap, our Native Mobile UI Controls, or the DevExpress Universal Subscription – feel free to email info@devexpress.com.

New Grid Control for Xamarin Forms (v19.1)
Our existing Grid for Xamarin.Forms (https://www.devexpress.com/products/xamarin/grid/) was built using the cross-platform Xamarin.Forms API.
As such, it includes restrictions that cannot be easily addressed (such as rendering speed when compared to native alternatives). Rather than struggle with the current codebase, we felt that our best option was to create an entirely new product – a native Grid that’s fully optimized for Xamarin.
As for the old Grid - we will place the product in maintenance mode (this means that no new features will be added – we will only fix critical issues going forward).
We plan to incorporate all major features that shipped in our old Xamarin Grid and give you:
- Improved rendering speed
- Auto row height support
- Template Selector support
To help simplify migration, we will do our best to mirror the new Grid’s API with that of the old Grid API.
